Job summary

Teradata is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Cloud FP&A team in Mexico City. You will manage full infra cost lifecycle, cloud allocations, reconciliations, and reporting, collaborating with regional teams and Corporate FP&A.

The role emphasizes cost control, month-end processes, and proactive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance or financial planning roles.
• Strong understanding of cost allocations, cloud infrastructure financial models, and general ledger processes.
• Experience with financial systems such as EPB, PCM, Oracle, Smart View, or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills; comfortable handling large data sets and pivot tables.
• Experience in month-end/quarter-end close processes, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed infrastructure cost allocation, absorption analysis, and chargeback validation (EPB/PCM).
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial processes, including running PCM and EPB rules and reports.
• Prepare Sites and Nodes files and update cost templates; reconcile GL data with infra cost accounts.
• Review and upload adjustments, deferrals, and true-ups; maintain the chargeback model.
• Reconcile billing systems vs. Cloud Zero reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Support HC actuals vs. forecast reviews with regional leads and managers.
• Prepare and update reports (Cloud P&L, Demo/POC, Shared Cost allocations).
• Execute and validate AGIS and US Journal Entries through PCM rules.
• Clean up and maintain data sources (Flexera, mapping, catalogs).
• Support financial planning cycles (Annual Plan, Forecast updates) with infra cost projections.
• Coordinate cloud cost presentations and executive reporting.
• Identify automation or process improvement opportunities across systems and reports.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis and explain variances or strategic implications.
