Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a senior Financial Analyst to lead complex financial analyses, validate journal entries, and oversee cost allocations across a multi‑cloud environment. You will work with Platform Owners, Accountants, FinOps leadership, and Engineering staff to investigate discrepancies and improve financial processes.

The role emphasizes governance, SOX‑aligned controls, and collaboration across global teams in a fast‑paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master's‑level education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable area of study.
• Five+ years in Financial Analysis, Corporate Accounting, FinOps, or Tech Business Management in a multi‑cloud context is a plus.
• At least one year in a leadership role managing teams.
• Strong understanding of GL practices, cost center allocation, month‑end closing, amortization, SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Examine and authorize batches of draft journal entries produced by automated systems, matching by company code, G/L account, and cost center.
• Match raw billing figures against vendor invoices and apply amortization schedules for credits.
• Administer allocation methodologies across 40+ cost centers and implement re‑classification directives.
