Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Tijuana, Mexico seeks a Senior CI Engineer to lead continuous improvement programs across the plant, applying Lean Six Sigma, 5S+, and Kaizen events to enhance safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

The role drives Operational Excellence systems, coordinates CI events, and develops training to advance technical competencies while delivering annual cost savings in alignment with divisional goals. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Bilingual English - Spanish.
• 3+ years of experience managing people and/or project teams.
• Proven knowledge in IATF16949, statistical tools & methods, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience with data analysis software (Excel, Access, Minitab) and root cause analysis (8D).

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safe work environment with 5S+ across all product lines.
• Support Operations applying lean manufacturing techniques including one-piece flow and waste elimination.
• In charge of the Operational Excellence Management system of the facility.
• Lead deployment of Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, EBS Pull and PROLaunch systems.
• Develop or modify processes to improve safety, productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Design and deploy Leader Standard Work concepts and Tier meetings reports.
• Plan and introduce best practices following ADKAR methodology.
• Coordinate annual/ monthly CI events like Kaizens, BPIs, VSMs, CI Councils.
• Develop and administer training programs for technical competencies.
• Execute annual cost savings strategy aligned with divisional goals.
• Lead and deploy EBS Pull and OpEx programs across the plant.
