Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineer in Mexico to drive manufacturing excellence. You will lead quality, process improvement, and productivity initiatives across engineering and manufacturing, guiding Kaizen events and applying Lean and problem-solving methodologies.

You will analyze KPIs and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and report progress to North American stakeholders in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, or Operational Excellence.
• Hands-on experience leading process improvement and productivity projects in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement, quality, and productivity projects across manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Identify opportunities by reviewing quality, productivity, and operational metrics.
• Lead Kaizen events and structured continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, CI, and problem-solving methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions for sustainable results.
• Manage productivity improvement projects from identification through implementation and tracking.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
• Use data analysis tools to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
• Coach teams on Lean and CI methodologies and best practices.
• Track project status, milestones, KPIs, risks, and results to North American stakeholders in English.
• Support improvement initiatives involving manufacturing and electrical processes.
