Svitla Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expert Python and Java for backend services and API development in an AI-driven retail platform. This full-time remote role based in Mexico requires coordinating across time zones and delivering production-grade software.

You will apply agentic engineering (Claude Code/Codex), build scalable microservices, and collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers. Strong Azure and container skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering or equivalent.
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.
• Expert in Python and Java with production-grade delivery.
• Experience with API/microservices development and data modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Implement features, optimize performance, review code for reliability and security.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and other engineers across time zones.
• Mentor teammates and support CI/CD, testing, and deployments.
