Svitla Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI/DevOps Engineer to join a globally distributed, remote team.

The role blends platform/DevOps engineering with MLOps, focusing on shipping AI-powered features, building pipelines, platforms, and guardrails for scalable LLM and ML workloads. The ideal candidate will design and operate Azure-based infrastructure, implement CI/CD for AI workloads, and ensure robust observability across multi-time-zone teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating systems in production.
• Expert level in Python and proficient in Java for backend product engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Design and operate the infrastructure powering AI features (LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, vector stores, model-serving endpoints).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for traditional services and AI/ML workloads (deployment, evaluation, rollback).
• Own observability and monitoring for AI systems (latency, cost, token usage, drift, AI-specific failures).
• Architect and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate with AI APIs/platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI) and build internal tooling to repeatable integration.
• Implement guardrails, rate limiting, caching, and cost controls for LLM-powered features.
• Collaborate with product, data, and app engineering to translate AI designs into production-grade systems.
• Coordinate with teams across time zones; mentor engineers and set technical direction.
