albo is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate the microservices powering our core financial products — from card issuing and authorization to credit lines, payments, and money movement. You’ll own services end-to-end across our polyglot, event-driven platform, ensuring correctness and observability at scale.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• +5 years of experience building and operating backend services in production, ideally in Banking/Fintech.
• Proficiency in Go or Java and willingness to work across both.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven messaging (Pub/Sub, Kafka).
• Cloud experience (GCP), containers and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort with SQL and NoSQL data stores (MongoDB, SingleStore/MySQL/Postgres).
• Knowledge of reliability patterns like idempotency, retries, reconciliation.
• Familiarity with fintech/payments concepts is a strong plus.
• Customer-centric and able to lead while contributing hands-on.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend microservices in Go and Java/Quarkus.
• Own services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and on-call ownership.
• Build event-driven and REST integrations (Pub/Sub, private-proxy mesh) with idempotency and data integrity.
• Model and evolve data across MongoDB and SingleStore, ensuring dual-write consistency.
• Ship through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and deploy to GKE/Kubernetes on GCP.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews to raise quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Infra, and other backend squads for incremental deliveries.
• Instrument observability (logs, metrics, tracing) to improve reliability.
• Contribute to architecture diagrams and shared scaffolding for the team.
