Altimetrik is seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot) to design and build scalable, cloud-native microservices for financial services clients. You will craft secure RESTful APIs and apply SOLID design while deploying on AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities include building microservices with Java 8+, containerizing with Docker/Kubernetes, implementing event-driven patterns with Kafka, and ensuring performance with JVM tuning and robust test coverage.

Formación

• 8+ years of hands-on Java (J2EE) development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Proven track record designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud-native deployments.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database and advanced SQL.
• Experience with Kafka and/or NATS (event-driven systems).
• Familiarity with Redis and Cassandra.
• Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Splunk or similar monitoring/observability tools.
• Solid grasp of SOLID, DRY, and clean architecture principles.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs (OAuth2, JWT, API Gateway patterns).
• Apply SOLID principles, clean architecture, and proven design patterns.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Optimize performance through threading, memory management, and JVM tuning.
• Write automated tests (JUnit, Mockito) and maintain strong code coverage.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Work across relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability best practices.
