Johnson & Johnson in Ciudad Juarez seeks a Senior Equipment Engineer to lead automation projects from design through validation and implementation. You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, vision systems and robotics, and drive hardware/software upgrades in a manufacturing setting.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and bilingual Spanish/English communication, with 4–6 years in highly automated manufacturing systems.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science required.
- Strong experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, vision systems and robots.
- Experience programming across different architectures and controllers.
Responsabilidades
- Lead automation-related capital projects from design through construction, concept validation and approval.
- Perform characterization, qualification and equipment validation to bring new automation systems into production.
- Evaluate and implement new automation technologies into manufacturing operations; design and install hardware/software upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and test new equipment; monitor data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance and proper documentation.
