Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Juarez, Mexico, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead engineering programs supporting production, technology transfer, and process development. Qualifications

8+ years of experience in engineering fields.
5+ years of manufacturing experience.
BS in Engineering (any specialty).
Master of Science (recommended).
Knowledge of project management principles and methods.
Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.
Ability to implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
JJOS/JJPS concepts knowledge desired.

Responsibilities

Sets goals and objectives for the Engineering Department to align with plant business plans.
Plans and coordinates projects to improve processes, equipment maintenance, and cost reduction.
Maintains contact with internal stakeholders on technical activities.
Ensures equipment is in working order and within specifications per production schedules.
Oversees capital requirements for process improvements.
Coordinates problem-solving within teams to avoid delays in product launches.
Identifies and implements process improvements and defect prevention measures.
Ensures compliance with Quality, Laws, Regulations, and safety/environment policies.
