EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer in Mexico to define and evolve automation testing strategies across projects. You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure robust, scalable automation delivering high-quality software.

You will set up necessary tooling, enhance Katalon Studio capabilities, author cases, and mentor teammates while integrating with CI/CD pipelines for reliable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automation engineering experience.
• Experience integrating automation into DevOps pipelines.
• Hands-on automation with Katalon Studio and Appium.
• Experience with unit testing and UX testing.
• Familiarity with TDD/BDD frameworks.
• Experience in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Knowledge of Katalon, Bitbucket, GitLab, TeamCity, SourceTree.
• Ability to plan and coordinate test automation initiatives.
• Experience with Cucumber for BDD and Selenium for web tests.
• Strong English communication (written and spoken).

• Set up tools and environments to support automation initiatives.
• Enhance the Katalon Studio framework and extend capabilities.
• Create detailed test cases for critical functionalities.
• propose solutions for testing challenges and process improvements.
• Execute test cases and monitor results across cycles.
• Generate clear test reports for stakeholders.
• Integrate Katalon reports with Polarion for centralized tracking.
• Coach and mentor the automation team on best practices.
• Support full development lifecycle with automation expertise.
