Jabil in Mexico (Region Centro) is seeking a Sr. Automation Design Engineer to design automation projects across mechanical, electronics, electrical, or software application domains.

You will review requirements, plan, design, install, and ensure delivery within budget and on time, while supporting the Lead Engineer. You will collaborate with Project Manager to meet timelines, act as liaison with assemblers/manufacturers, generate design drawings and manuals, and log engineering time.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automation equipment design and installation.
• Equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Responsabilidades

• Designs automation equipment in respective areas of expertise.
• Works closely with Project Manager/Engineer to meet project timeline and within budget.
• Reviews, understands and interprets requirements/specification accurately for integration into design of equipment.
• Acts as liaison with internal and/or external Assemblers/manufacturer of equipment to ensure all parts are manufactured to the design.
• Generates design drawings, installation manual, and user manual.
• Ensures all engineering times are logged into tracking system correspondent to the projects.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
