Jabil is seeking an Automation Design Engineer II to design automation projects including mechanical, electrical, electronics and software applications. You will review requirements, plan, design and install equipment to meet specifications, on time and within budget.

You will collaborate with project managers, act as liaison with assemblers, generate design drawings and manuals, and log engineering time in the tracking system. Minimum 3–5 years in automation design and installation and a B.Sc.

Formación

• Functional knowledge of mechanical/electronics/electrical/software application engineering.
• Functional knowledge of EMS industries and automation equipment assembly/installation.

Responsabilidades

• Designs automation equipment in respective areas of expertise.
• Works with Project Manager/Engineer to meet timelines and budget.
• Interprets requirements/specifications for design integration.
• Liaises with internal/external assemblers to ensure parts match design.
• Generates design drawings, installation and user manuals.
• Logs engineering time in project tracking system.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
