Job summary
BairesDev is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to set technical direction for a growing AWS-hosted platform. You’ll translate product goals into robust software and guide multiple teams toward scalable solutions.
You’ll mentor senior engineers, shape event-driven architectures, and advocate for AI-assisted development. This is a 100% remote role with flexible hours and competitive USD compensation, working with a global Top 1% of talent.
Qualifications
- 10+ years backend experience with Node.js/TypeScript.
- Proven experience with production-grade microservices architectures.
- Extensive AWS-hosted platform experience.
- Experience taking software to production and owning operations.
- Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Comfort collaborating directly with end users.
- Advanced level of English.
Responsibilities
- Lead a product capability from design through delivery and operation.
- Deliver working software aligned to product goals.
- Set architecture and engineering practices for event-driven services on AWS.
- Collaborate with end users to clarify requirements.
- Champion AI-assisted development across the delivery cycle.
- Mentor senior engineers and advise leaders on technical strategy.
