Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to set technical direction for an expanding AWS-hosted platform. You will translate product goals into working software and guide teams to elevate engineering standards.

In this 100% remote role, you will design event-driven microservices, collaborate with end users to clarify requirements, and apply AI-assisted development techniques to accelerate delivery while ensuring production reliability.

What You'll Do

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of deep expertise building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of event-driven microservices architectures, having designed them in production.
• Extensive background with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Experience taking software to production and owning its operation.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Comfort collaborating directly with end users.
• Advanced level of English.
