Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Senior AIX/Linux Lead in Monterrey to drive operational delivery across INC, RITM, and Change management for the AIX & Linux track. The role involves 10+ years of experience managing AIX and Linux, including upgrades, patching and vulnerability remediation, and leading an End-of-Life refresh program.

The ideal candidate will plan infrastructure initiatives such as VIO upgrades and migration from PowerPath to MPIO, and demonstrate strong automation scripting with Ansible.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in managing AIX and Linux environments including upgrades and patch management.
• Experience leading AIX upgrade programs and End-of-Life refresh.
• Strong skills in planning infrastructure initiatives (VIO upgrades, PowerPath to MPIO migrations).

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery for AIX & Linux track, including INC, RITM, and Change management.
• Oversee server patching and vulnerability remediation coordinating with application owners.
• Plan and execute EOL refresh strategies for AIX and Linux environments.
• Provide on-call and weekend support for critical issues and planned maintenance.
