ASSA ABLOY Group in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking an IT Infrastructure AIX TechOps Engineer to lead the design and operation of Datacenter technologies, including VMware, VxRail, SAN, and UNIX/AIX servers in a 24x7 environment.

You will support Windows, RedHat Linux, AIX, and SAP Hana environments, interact with developers, DBAs, and other teams, and help implement security, networking, and database infrastructure as needed.

Formación

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field required; bachelor’s preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
• One or more industry certifications such as VMware, Linux, AIX, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and build-out of Datacenter technologies in the Americas.
• Provide primary support for Windows, Linux (RedHat), UNIX/AIX, and SAN environments.
• Monitor, optimize, and document system configurations and changes.
• Automate routine tasks with scripting; ensure 24/7/365 uptime.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and other admins to resolve issues.
• Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
