Job summary

Infosys Limited in Monterrey is seeking a senior AIX and Linux operations lead to oversee incident, change, and request management for the AIX and Linux track. You will drive upgradation programs, patch management, and vulnerability remediation across 100+ servers as part of an End-of-Life refresh.

Strong automation skills with Ansible and scripting are required, along with stakeholder engagement and on-call support for critical incidents.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing AIX and Linux environments including upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Lead AIX upgrade program for End-of-Life refresh with 100+ server upgrades in the pipeline.
• Plan and execute infrastructure initiatives in AIX estate including VIO upgrades and PowerPath to MPIO migration (Critical).
• Engage key stakeholders on project planning and requirements.
• Oversee AIX and Linux server patching and vulnerability remediation with application owners.
• End-of-Life (EOL) planning and refresh strategy for AIX and Linux environments.
• On-call and weekend support for critical issues and planned maintenance activities.
