Job summary

Infosys Limited seeks an experienced AIX and Linux operations lead to manage end-to-end infrastructure delivery. You will oversee incident and change management, drive upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation for the AIX and Linux estate, including major upgrade programs and automation efforts.

Responsibilities include coordinating with application owners, planning EOL refreshes, and providing on-call/weekend support to ensure system availability and performance across the environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in managing AIX and Linux environments.
• Experience with upgrades, patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with incident and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery for AIX & Linux track.
• Oversee server patching and vulnerability remediation with application owners.
• Plan and execute infrastructure initiatives (VIO upgrades, PowerPath to MPIO).
• On-call and weekend support for critical issues and planned maintenance.
