Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer with strong AI knowledge to join our team. You will design and build scalable data integration solutions that meet business objectives and work with cross-functional teams.

This role emphasizes code quality, automation, and continuous improvement as you mentor teammates, review code, and stay current with new data technologies. Fluency in English is required and experience with cloud data platforms is a must.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional data integration experience.
Experience applying AI concepts to data pipelines.
Proficient in Python for data workflows.
Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP).
Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge.
Familiarity with Airflow, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake.
Fluent English (B2+).

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, maintainable data integration solutions that meet business and technical objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Review code produced by fellow engineers, providing constructive feedback to uphold strong engineering practices.
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues that arise throughout the data pipeline lifecycle.
Support the growth of junior team members by sharing knowledge that strengthens their technical abilities.
Take part in planning discussions, contributing to scope definition and providing accurate time estimates.
Stay current with evolving technology trends and apply valuable new approaches to daily work.
Maintain clear documentation of key technical decisions and data workflows to support long-term system stability.
