Job summary

EPAM Systems is expanding its team in Mexico with a Senior Java Developer who brings a solid AI background. You will design and implement robust backend services, participate in architecture discussions, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with multi-national teams on cutting-edge projects.

This role emphasizes strong Java 8+ skills, Spring Boot, cloud experience (Azure/AWS), REST APIs, and microservices, with a focus on scalable, maintainable solutions and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• At least three years of hands-on experience in a related technical capacity.
• Practical grasp of AI tools and frameworks for improving solution design.
• Strong Java Core understanding and object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience with Java 8 features in real projects.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot for backend systems.
• Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for automated releases.
• SQL for relational databases; NoSQL knowledge advantageous.
• Experience designing microservices and REST-based APIs.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+).
