Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable, payroll processing, and month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and payroll platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Management: Review and monitor purchase requests, invoices, and workflow approvals to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Payroll Processing: Record and reconcile payroll transactions for employees and contractors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Expense & Accrual Accounting: Manage payroll-related accruals, including PTO, bonuses, and contractor expenses.
• Month-End Close, Reconciliations & Flux Analysis: Perform monthly reconciliations and flux analysis; meet close deadlines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with HR, Procurement, and Operations to resolve financial matters and report accurately.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation to improve efficiency and control.
