Job summary

OpsArmy is seeking a Senior Accountant for remote work to oversee end-to-end month-end close for a portfolio of ecommerce/CPG clients. You will manage tasks across AP, AR, payroll-related items, and ensure accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include delivering client accounting packages, addressing client questions promptly, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. You will collaborate with the Controller and accounting team to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with ecommerce or CPG accounting is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Ability to meet deadlines and respond to client questions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close for an assigned portfolio of clients.
• Prepare and support the delivery of client accounting deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and follow up on outstanding items.
• Maintain clean and up-to-date records in accounting systems.
• Escalate issues to the Controller before deadlines.
• Support process improvements within the accounting team.
