Job summary

Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Team. You will handle monthly reconciliations of LAC Customer, Merchant, and Advisors Incentives in line with policy 700-B and support transactions within the CAR Tool workflow.

You will review work orders under MSA terms, prepare accounting treatments, and manage requisitions in Oracle. The role also involves reporting quarterly commitments and guarantees using Excel and Hyperion, with close collaboration across Finance and

Qualifications

• Related financial experience; experience in the payment industry is a plus.
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent experience in Finance and/or deal management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Good understanding of foreign exchange and analysis.
• Good understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP), SEC reporting, SOX.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Corporate Security Responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Monthly completions of LAC Customer, Merchant, and Advisors Incentives reconciliation in accordance with Mastercard policy 700-B.
• Review of work orders subject to MSA terms and conditions in the CAR Tool review and approval workflow.
• Prepare Accounting Treatments in accordance with Mastercard policy and attach to CAR Tool approval workflow for corresponding work order.
• Review and approve Purchase Requisitions in the approval workflow in the Oracle procurement system.
• Preparation and reporting of quarterly commitments schedule in excel and updating Hyperion tool.
• Preparation and reporting of quarterly guarantees report in excel and submission to Corporate.
