Mastercard Inc. in Mexico City is seeking an Associate Specialist for Cross-Border Payment Operations to support daily payout data accuracy and flow monitoring.

You will handle data entry, assist customer service with payment inquiries, and help optimize processes. A finance/business background and 3+ years in payments are preferred, with English proficiency and MS Office skills required.

• Minimum 3 years in payment operations, processing, or financial services.
• Strong data accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Professional working proficiency in English; clear written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

Title and Summary

Associate Specialist, Cross-Border Payment Operations Overview: Support the daily operations of our payment processes, ensuring the documented data is accurate. The candidate should have a foundational understanding of the payments industry and have a proactive approach to operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operational task of collating data on the payout partners and ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor transaction flows to identify and address issues promptly
• Identify and resolve payment-related issues and discrepancies, escalating complex cases as needed
• Accurately enter and maintain transaction data in relevant systems
• Assist customer service teams with payment-related inquiries and escalations, providing timely and accurate information
• Perform specific and time-boxed tasks in support of business goals to deliver new existing products
• Draft and contribute to the development of internal and external implementation documents and process flows
• Support initiatives aimed at improving payment processes and operational efficiency

Experiences and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written interactions with global stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payment operations, payment processing, banking back-office operations, or financial services operations.
• Experience in the payments industry, particularly in cross-border payments, international money transfers, or remittance services, is highly desirable.
• Experience working in banks, fintechs, payment processors, or other financial institutions is preferred.
• Availability to work from the office at least 3 days per week.
