Mastercard in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly reconciliations and provide financial guidance to maximize growth and profitability.

The role involves reviewing orders, preparing accounting treatments, and attaching them to CAR Tool for approval, as well as approving Purchase Requisitions in Oracle and reporting quarterly commitments and guarantees to Corporate.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Good understanding of foreign exchange and analysis.
• Good understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP), SEC reporting, SOX.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion.

Aufgaben

• Monthly completions of LAC Customer, Merchant, and Advisors Incentives reconciliation in accordance with Mastercard policy 700-B.
• Review of work orders subject to MSA terms and conditions in the CAR Tool review and approval workflow.
• Prepare Accounting Treatments in accordance with Mastercard policy and attach to CAR Tool approval workflow for corresponding work order.
• Review and approve Purchase Requisitions in the approval workflow in the Oracle procurement system.
• Preparation and reporting of quarterly commitments schedule in excel and updating Hyperion tool.
• Preparation and reporting of quarterly guarantees report in excel and submission to Corporate.
