Rain Bird Corporation is seeking a motivated Agricultural Sales Specialist to drive sales growth in Central East Mexico and expand Rain Bird’s agricultural presence by building strong relationships with growers, designers, and distributors. The role collaborates with the International Business Manager to implement market development initiatives.

• A. or B.S. degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Support sales growth by strengthening Rain Bird’s relationship with growers and corporate farm customers.
• Develop new accounts and support existing Rain Bird irrigation customers to grow market share.
• Establish regular calls with target customers including designers, distributors and retailers to build a Rain Bird distribution network.
• Provide excellent customer service, maintain a local presence, and follow up on projects and opportunities.

Rain Bird is seeking a highly motivated Agricultural Sales Specialist to support sales growth across Central East Mexico. This field-facing role will assist in expanding Rain Bird’s agricultural presence by contributing to sales growth, customer satisfaction, and target market initiatives.

Rain Bird is seeking a highly motivated Agricultural Sales Specialist to support sales growth across Central East Mexico. This field-facing role will assist in expanding Rain Bird’s agricultural presence by contributing to sales growth, customer satisfaction, and target market initiatives.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a developing, high-opportunity region and support the implementation of sales strategies by building strong relationships with distributors, dealers, designers, growers, and corporate accounts. This role will work closely with the International Business Manager and contribute to portfolio expansion and market development initiatives.
A relocation bonus is available for this position to support eligible candidates
Responsibilities

• Support sales growth by implementing tactics to strengthen Rain Bird’s relationship with growers and corporate farm customers.
• Contribute to sales and market share growth by supporting existing Rain Bird agricultural irrigation customers and developing new accounts.
• Establish regular call coverage with target customers, including agricultural designers, distributors, and irrigation retailers, to support the development of a loyal Rain Bird Agricultural distribution network.
• Differentiate Rain Bird from its competitors by providing excellent customer service, a local presence, and consistent follow‑up on projects and business opportunities.
• Support projects through the design, specification, pricing, and installation stages and contribute to securing opportunities for Rain Bird.
• Educate and train distributors, dealers, and growers on Rain Bird Agricultural applications, products, features, benefits, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Support the development and execution of targeted sales and marketing programs to capture incremental sales.
• Assist Rain Bird customers with after‑sales service, technical support, and quality issues.
• Develop strong technical knowledge of irrigation specifications and serve as a resource to Rain Bird Area Managers in the territory.
• Assist the Agriculture Division by gathering information about market needs, competitors, and overall market trends.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• A. or B.S. degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication and general business skills.
• Motivated, results‑oriented self‑starter who is willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation applications.
• Must live within the territory and be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience or exposure to agricultural sales, dealers, end users, or distributors.
• Knowledge of or exposure to agricultural irrigation design and installation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
