Ensambles Hyson in Veracruz, Mexico, seeks an experienced Lead Engineer to support Product Lifecycle and quality improvements for Rain Bird products. You will lead investigations, mentor junior engineers, and drive manufacturability and cost reductions across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 9+ years in design or product engineering, strong CAD/FEA/CFD skills, and bilingual English/Spanish. A relocation bonus is offered for eligible candidates.

Formación

• BS degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical engineering.
• 9+ years in design, project engineering, or product engineering with increasing responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of design concepts and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with manufacturing processes used in RB (ultrasonic welding, injection molding, fasteners).
• Experience with plastic/elastomeric materials and mechanical structures.
• Familiarity with DOE, Six Sigma, SPC and reliability studies.
• Ability to lead complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in CAD, FEA, CFD and product testing techniques.
• Bilingual – English, Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Identify root causes of product quality issues and implement systemic solutions.
• Develop product and process improvements to address causes.
• Support plants on quality, manufacturability and productivity improvements.
• Lead quality improvement projects from concept through validation and implementation.
• Coordinate and implement new product development from design to production readiness.
• Maintain product lifecycle quality and design integrity.
