Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an experienced robotics automation engineer to program, troubleshoot, and commission Fanuc robots on high-speed automotive lines. You will integrate Keyence 3D vision sensors and Photoneo PhoXi scanners, optimize trajectories, and perform offline programming with Process Simulate or RoboGuide.

The role requires strong EtherNet/IP and CIP Safety knowledge, plus collaboration with PLC, safety, and mechanical teams to ensure smooth system ramp and handoff.

Formación

• Experience implementing automated solutions under TLBS or equivalent automotive robotics standards.
• 3–5+ years programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning Fanuc robots (R-30iB / R-50iA).
• Experience integrating Keyence 3D vision sensors or Photoneo PhoXi with Fanuc controllers.
• Hands-on expertise in 3D random bin picking, dynamic part localization, point-cloud surface matching, and real-time collision avoidance.
• Proficient in EtherNet/IP, CIP Safety, and interfacing robots with PLCs (Beckhoff TwinCAT / Allen-Bradley).

Responsabilidades

• Programming & Integration: Program, debug, and optimize Fanuc robots adhering strictly to TLBS and internal robotics specs.
• 3D Vision Integration: Configure, calibrate, and interface Keyence and Photoneo 3D vision hardware and software with Fanuc controllers for automated bin-picking, part localization, and adaptive trajectory applications.
• Cell Commissioning: Offline programming (Process Simulate or RoboGuide), trajectory path planning, reachability/collision studies, cycle time optimization, and hands-on path teaching on high-speed production lines.
• System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot robot controller hardware (R-30iB/R-50iA), fieldbus networks (EtherNet/IP, Safety over EtherNet/IP), I/O mapping, and industrial vision system communication protocols.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with PLC control engineers, safety compliance teams, mechanical tooling designers, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless equipment installation, ramp, and final line handoff.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Standards & Methodology: Proven experience implementing automated solutions under Tesla Line Builder Standards (TLBS) or equivalent high-volume, modern automotive OEM robotics standards.
• Robot Hardware: Minimum 3–5+ years of hands-on experience programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning Fanuc industrial robots (R-30iB / R-50iA controllers).
• Vision Systems: Demonstrated experience integrating Keyence 3D vision sensors and/or Photoneo PhoXi 3D scanners with Fanuc controllers using advanced vision software tools.
• Application Expertise: Hands-on expertise in 3D random bin picking, dynamic part localization, point-cloud surface matching, and real-time collision avoidance.
• Controls & Networks: Strong proficiency in EtherNet/IP architecture, CIP Safety signal configuration, and interfacing robots with industrial PLCs (Beckhoff TwinCAT / Allen-Bradley).
