Symbotic is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on automated systems and robotics at the operation site. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the development of expertise in automation and electrical/mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, PLC troubleshooting, robotics, and material-handling equipment, with familiarity of major automation

Formación

• Diploma in mechatronics, electronics, industrial maintenance, automation, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, automation, robotics, or related technical environment.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, sensors, VFDs, servo motors, pneumatics, HMIs, CMMS documentation, and electro‑mechanical repair preferred.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar automation platforms is highly desirable.
• Basic conversational English preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on automated systems and robotic equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Inspect, adjust, and replace wear components, sensors, belts, rollers, motors and other equipment parts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, repairs, and parts usage in the CMMS system.
• Support system uptime by identifying potential issues and escalating complex problems.
• Follow 5S standards and all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Assist operations by performing Cell Operator functions when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
