Symbotic seeks an Automation Maintenance Technician II to support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of automated systems at the site. This hands-on role requires experience in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical controls, and robotics in high-volume environments.

Ideal candidates will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose downtime, and document actions in CMMS. Strong safety focus and the ability to work independently are essential.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent certification/experience in electronics, automation, mechatronics, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with mechanical or automated systems.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting ability, including interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic data.
• Proficiency in preventive inspection tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checks, and electrical measurements.
• Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet productivity requirements in a dynamic environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to Lockout/Tagout and other safety protocols.
• Basic conversational English preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain AS/RS, robotic vehicles, lifts, conveyors, sensors, motors, and related electro-mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose downtime using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, HMI interfaces, diagnostic software, and test equipment.
• Perform preventive, corrective, mechanical, and electrical maintenance on automation systems and robotics.
• Troubleshoot system issues using PLC diagnostics, multimeters, electrical testing devices, and diagnostic tools.
• Inspect, calibrate, repair, and replace components on robotic vehicles and automation equipment.
• Monitor system performance and support maximum throughput by identifying and resolving equipment constraints.
• Maintain detailed CMMS documentation of inspections, repairs, root cause findings, parts usage, and corrective actions.
• Communicate production-impacting issues, repair status, and recommended corrective actions to operations and maintenance leadership.
• Safely operate automation systems to support troubleshooting, recovery, validation, and robotic vehicle retrieval activities.
• Perform minor fabrication and installation activities, including mounting hardware, aligning sensors, installing supports, and modifying equipment as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and reliability-focused maintenance programs.
• Mentor and assist Maintenance Technician I team members on troubleshooting and maintenance best practices.
• Maintain compliance with all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and fall protection procedures.
• Maintain 5S standards and clean, organized work areas.
• Support operations by performing Cell Operator functions when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
