Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Income Reconciliation Accountant based in Mexico to oversee income reconciliation, financial data integrity, and cross-platform alignment across accounting and fundraising systems. You will manage high-volume transactions from digital payment platforms, support audits, and strengthen internal controls.

The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical prowess, and collaboration with fundraising and finance teams to improve workflows and automate recurring tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong reconciliation and analytical abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile donations, grants, and incoming payments across platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Global Payments, BBMS).
• Record revenue transactions, processing fees, and journal entries; keep CRM records aligned across systems.
• Prepare donor contribution statements and support donor communications and audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax rules, donor obligations, and internal policies.
• Support period-end closings and provide documentation for audits and reporting.
• Improve accounting systems, reporting processes, and data structures for accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop reconciliation reports and dashboards using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring tasks and standardize workflows.
• Collaborate with fundraising and finance teams to resolve discrepancies across platforms.
