Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking an Income Reconciliation Accountant based in Mexico. You will own income reconciliation and ensure data integrity across accounting and fundraising systems, handling high-volume transactions from digital payment platforms.

In collaboration with fundraising and finance teams, you will improve reporting quality, support audits, and strengthen internal controls while identifying automation opportunities in a lean environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting principles.
• Familiarity with IFRS is desirable.
• Experience with reconciliation across multiple platforms and systems.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets proficiency for complex reconciliations.
• Familiarity with Sun Accounting or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Income platforms and reconciliation across Stripe, PayPal, Global Payments, and BBMS.
• Record revenue transactions, fees, and journal entries accurately.
• Prepare donor statements and support donor communications.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Assist audits and period-end closing with revenue information.
• Improve systems, reporting processes, and data structures.
• Develop reconciliation reports and dashboards using Excel/Sheets.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring tasks.
• Collaborate with fundraising and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
