Rosewood Hotel Group in Quintana Roo is seeking a Hotel/Resort Manager to guarantee the proper functioning of the hotel through the integration of operational and administrative departments, guided by Our Culture. You will lead departments including Food & Beverage, Rooms, Residences, Security and Spa, and collaborate with corporate offices to meet guest expectations.

Formación

• Previous hotel/resort management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise multiple departments and drive standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Supervise Food & Beverage, Rooms, Residences, Security and Spa departments.
• Represent the Managing Director during his absence with guests, owners and corporate offices.
• Set annual objectives and monitor progress with department heads.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and service standards across all teams.
• Engage with guests and staff courteously to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Collaborate with executives and corporate teams to align operational goals with business strategy.

Basic Functions:

The main activity of a Hotel/Resort Manager is to ensure that the daily operation of the Hotel flows correctly in order to meet the expectations of our guests, also assists and represent the Managing Director during his absence with Guest, Owners, Corporate Offices, Associates, Suppliers in a profesional and responsables way according to our culture.

Duties and Responsabilities

• To maintain an ample knowledge and to adapt to the departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• To make sure that the standards stay in a superior level daily and at any moment.

• To supervise and to direct to the departments of Food & Beverage, Room Division, Residences, Security and SPA (Boutique).
• To attend in establishing and creating goals and strategies to achieve the operational and financial success of the hotel.
• To keep contact with the corporative offices in the execution of corporative goals.
• As a member of the Executive Committee, to work close by with other members of the equipment in reaching the goals and objectives of the hotel
• To establish annual objectives for the Executives and Department Heads who report him directly.
• Person in charge of the attachment of the employees with the hotel’s policies and procedures when applying disciplinary actions when it is appropriate.
• Responsible to participate and create the manager on duty program and the Ceiba host calendar
• To interact of a courteous and professional form with the guests, personnel and members of the community to create the necessary engagement
• To respond in a courteous, professional and fast form with the intention of solving any conflict with guests or staff.
• To apply the principles of the logical thought to an ample range of intellectual and practical problems, not standardized, with the object to develop and to direct great variety of tasks.
• To supervise, to direct, to coordinate, to influence and to persuade the staff to maintain the hotel standards of service.
• To interact with other persons beyond giving and receiving orders; particularly to interact with supervisors, subordinates, collaborator and guests, as well as to solve problems with the guests and personnel.
• To become attached to a variety of written and oral instructions and schedules.
• Develop a variety of tasks, changing frequently from a task to another one of different nature without losing the efficiency and composure.
• To maintain a healthy work environment within the hotel.
• To make other required tasks.
