Bluelight is seeking a senior backend-focused software engineer to join our growing team in Mexicali. You will design and implement low-latency RESTful services in AWS, with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB using Row-Level Security and multi-tenant architectures.

The role requires strong Node.js/TypeScript/JavaScript skills and experience across the full stack. You will collaborate on challenging projects, contribute to frontend work when needed, and participate in CI/CD maintenance.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode testing.
• Experience with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development with frontend contributions.
• Background with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
