Bluelight is seeking a senior backend engineer to join a fast-paced consultancy with a focus on scalable API services and secure multi-tenant architecture. You will contribute across the stack, optimize databases, and participate in CI/CD, testing, and performance improvements.

You will work remotely with teams across the US and Latin America, overlap US business hours, and pursue ongoing education and certifications as part of career growth.

Formación

• 5+ years in professional software development, backend-focused.
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript/JavaScript experience.
• Proven ability to build low-latency, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL/AuroraDB including RLS.
• Knowledge of secure multi-tenant architectures and data models.
• Comfort with raw SQL and schema migrations; testing emphasis.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement backend services and APIs for high-traffic apps.
• Collaborate with frontend and data teams, overlap US business hours.
• Write integration tests covering real databases and fault scenarios.
• Integrate AI coding assistants into daily development workflow.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized services on AWS.
