Bluelightconsulting in Mexico is seeking a senior backend software engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments. You will design and build scalable, low-latency API services in AWS, with a strong focus on Node.js/TypeScript and PostgreSQL, while collaborating across teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, backend-focused.
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB including RLS.
• Experience with multi-tenant architectures and secure isolation.
• SQL writing and schema migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices including integration tests against real databases.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development.
• CI/CD setup and maintenance.
• Solid full-stack ability to contribute to frontend when needed.
• Experience with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Client-focused attitude and adherence to best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with event-sourced/bitemporal data models.
• Experience with Fastify and schema validation (Zod).
• Experience running containerized services on AWS Fargate/ECS.
• Experience in compliance-sensitive domains (fintech/telecom).
