Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior backend-focused software engineer to join our growing team. You will contribute to designing and building high-quality applications, with strong emphasis on scalable APIs, secure multi-tenant environments, and low-latency services in AWS.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of backend experience, deep Node.js/TypeScript skills, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. Remote-friendly, global collaboration, and ongoing learning are core to our culture.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, incl. Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Able to write SQL and manage schema migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases.
• Experience with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development with frontend contribution.
• Background with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
