Bluelight Consulting in Mexico is seeking a senior backend-focused software engineer to join our growing team. You will develop high-quality, scalable services using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, and contribute across the stack when needed.

You will work with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, implement secure multi-tenant architectures, and write thorough tests, including integration tests with real databases. A Bachelor's degree and strong ownership are required.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
• Experience with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development with frontend contribution when needed.
• Background with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
