DoorDash Labs is seeking a dedicated Operations Shift Lead to oversee daily activities of our remote operations team. You will ensure smooth and safe operations across shifts, managing testing, deployment, logging, and efficiency.

This role requires flexible hours from 9 AM to 1 AM CST, Monday through Sunday, reporting to the LABS Operations Manager in the Remote Assistance Team within the Robot Operations organization.

Formación

• 3+ years in autonomous and/or robotics operations management.
• Proven leadership, decision-making and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Strong focus on safety and implementing safe, efficient practices.
• Proficient with Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, Linux, and GitHub; able to navigate web tools.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, evolving environments and non-traditional schedules.
• Strategic thinking to align with company goals and drive operations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily activities of the operations team and ensure smooth remote operations.
• Monitor workflow and schedules to meet operational goals.
• Enforce safety and compliance standards during shifts.
• Coordinate with other team leads and engineers to align objectives.
• Handle admin duties like scheduling, issue escalation, and process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with management to ensure seamless operations across shifts.
