Bluelight is a leading software consultancy hiring a senior backend engineer with 5+ years of experience. You will design and develop high-availability services using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, contributing across full-stack tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes building secure, scalable APIs, efficient SQL, and robust testing, with flexible hours and remote work options. Candidates should be delivery-focused, collaborative, and capable of working across US business hours.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Proven experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Strong SQL skills and schema migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Experience with full-stack development and React.
• Secure multi-tenant environments and RLS knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement backend services using Node.js/TypeScript.
• Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and low-latency components in AWS.
• Collaborate across teams, perform integration tests with real databases.
