Bluelight is a leading software consultancy seeking a senior software engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will contribute to high-quality backend services and scalable APIs while collaborating across frontend and backend domains.

The role emphasizes ownership, diligence, and working with modern technologies in a remote-friendly environment. You’ll engage in challenging projects for diverse clients, with opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript experience.
• Experience building low-latency AWS-native RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and SQL migrations.
• Experience with React and full-stack development.
• Experience with containerized services on AWS Fargate/ECS.
• Experience with Fastify and schema validation (Zod).
• Ability to overlap US business hours and work remotely flexibility.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong ownership, accountability and client-focused mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Develop scalable, secure backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with UI/Frontend when needed and contribute to frontend work.
• Design and implement data models, including event-sourced/bitemporal patterns.
• Write tests including integration tests with real databases.
• Maintain and operate cloud-based services on AWS (Fargate/ECS).
• Ensure compliance with fintech/audit-heavy domains.
