Bluelight is a leading software consultancy expanding across the Americas. We seek a senior backend-focused engineer to design and develop high-quality applications with a strong emphasis on APIs, data security, and scalable architectures.

You will develop low-latency RESTful services in AWS, integrate with external SDKs, and contribute to frontend work when needed. Remote-friendly, collaborative culture that rewards ownership and continuous learning.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations.
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases.
