Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Test Environment Manager to own and coordinate test environments across the software delivery lifecycle. The role requires leadership in planning, provisioning, and optimizing environments, ensuring availability and stability for testing activities.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in test environments, QA, or software delivery, with strong SDLC and release management knowledge, plus experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in test environment management, QA, or software delivery roles.
• Proven experience managing multiple test environments across complex technology landscapes.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, release management, and deployment processes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience coordinating environment provisioning, configuration, refreshes, and deployments.
• Strong understanding of test data management and environment dependencies.
• Experience with defect and incident management and troubleshooting environment-related issues.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage test environments across the software testing lifecycle, ensuring availability, stability, and readiness.
• Coordinate environment planning, configuration, refreshes, deployments, and test data requirements across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with QA, development, DevOps, release, and business teams to resolve environment issues and minimize testing disruptions.
• Establish environment management processes, monitor utilization and performance, and drive continuous improvements and automation.
