Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Lead SDET to build regression automation and guide the testing strategy across the full product release cycle. The role emphasizes collaboration with PM, UX, and Engineering teams to ensure quality from development through release.

You will design and implement test automation, oversee data science testing, and drive BDD practices with Gherkin, while supporting on-call rotations and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software QA working with PM, UX and Eng teams.
• 6+ years automated testing including UI, API, and performance.
• 5+ years in systems-based testing architecture focusing on authentication, platforms and infra.
• 3+ years testing data science models and AI/ML evals.
• Strong written and verbal communication, holisitc quality mindset and Gherkin for BDD.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed feature behavior and pass/fail criteria.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout SDLC and releases.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
