Jobgether is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (.NET) based in Mexico to spearhead a major modernization initiative. You will own the transition from a legacy monolith to microservices, shaping architecture, data migration, and scalable solutions while guiding teams through delivery and quality practices.

In this role you will collaborate with Product and Architecture teams, drive engineering performance, and coach engineers to mature processes and career development in a distributed environment.

Formación

• Strong .NET engineering background with C#, .NET 8, and ASP.NET Core.
• Solid understanding of web app architecture, REST APIs, microservices patterns, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Redis.
• Experience modernizing legacy monolithic apps to microservices.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to diagnose complex architecture, data migrations, performance, and prod issues.
• Experience leading engineering teams including one-on-one coaching and performance reviews.
• Strong delivery management skills using Jira and estimation processes.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end delivery of the monolith-to-microservices modernization initiative, from analysis to production deployment.
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to review specs, assess legacy dependencies, and produce estimates.
• Guide architectural decisions across .NET Core services, databases, and frontend integrations.
• Serve as primary technical escalation point for backend challenges and production incidents.
• Improve delivery practices, estimation accuracy, and QA collaboration.
• Support predictable releases by identifying risks and ensuring production stability.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings to support career development and team engagement.
• Drive continuous improvements in engineering processes and collaboration.
