Job summary

Skyline Payments is seeking a Sr. Account Executive to drive top-of-funnel sales by identifying and qualifying prospective clients for our payment solutions.

You will lead outbound prospecting, demonstrate our platform, collect merchant statements, handle objections, and schedule qualified meetings for the Account Manager. The ideal candidate has strong outbound sales experience, excellent objection handling, and a track record of exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, or sales development.
• Experience conducting outbound prospecting via phone, email, and other channels.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and metrics.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations or managing sales from prospecting to closing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and other channels to engage prospective clients.
• Articulate the value of our payment solutions and drive product demonstrations.
• Lead brief product demonstrations (5–10 minutes) or schedule appointments to gather merchant requirements.
• Collect merchant statements to support proposals and sales processes.
• Schedule at least 20 qualified demos or meetings per month for the Account Manager.
• Build rapport, identify business needs, and qualify opportunities through discovery conversations.
• Handle objections while educating prospects on value and benefits.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities in the CRM.
• Collaborate with the Account Manager and Sales Leaders to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Consistently hit monthly activity, pipeline, and performance targets.
• Identify ways to improve prospecting and sales processes.
• Mentor/ support junior SDRs with best practices.
