Job summary

Proper AI is seeking an IT Support & Logistics Specialist to support our distributed team. The role combines hands-on IT support with asset management and equipment logistics in a fully remote setup based in Mexico.

You will manage device provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, shipments, and vendor coordination, while maintaining accurate inventories and documentation. Strong communication in English is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT support or related role.
• Experience provisioning devices for new joiners and coordinating offboarding.
• Experience tracking equipment inventory and shipments.
• Ability to work with external vendors and logistics providers.
• English at least B1+; Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT onboarding for new joiners, ensuring devices and peripherals are prepared and delivered on time.
• Configure and test employee devices following internal standards.
• Coordinate IT offboarding, including device collection and return tracking.
• Maintain accurate inventories of laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
• Track shipments, delivery status, and lifecycle of equipment.
• Provide first-line IT support for Windows/macOS issues and requests.
• Document IT asset movements and onboarding/offboarding checklists.
• Work with People Operations to align start/departure dates with equipment needs.
• Support IT service delivery and administrative tasks related to devices and software.
