Job summary

Proper AI is seeking an IT Support & Logistics Specialist to support our distributed team. This fully remote role based in Mexico involves preparing devices for new joiners, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining IT asset inventories while coordinating shipments with vendors.

Strong English (B1+) and Spanish communication are required. You will handle first-line Windows/macOS support, problem resolution, and documentation, collaborating with People Operations to align equipment

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional IT support or IT operations experience.
• Experience tracking devices, peripherals, and serial numbers.
• Experience prepping equipment for new joiners and coordinating asset recovery.
• Ability to coordinate shipments and returns with providers and vendors.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS troubleshooting, identity management, and provisioning.
• Strong documentation skills and follow-through on checklists and procedures.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (B1+).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT onboarding for new employees and ensure equipment is prepared and delivered on time.
• Configure and test devices according to internal standards.
• Coordinate offboarding, device recovery, and returns with shipping labels and tracking.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and lifecycle status.
• Track shipments, ownership, location, and delivery status.
• Communicate with vendors and logistics providers to resolve issues.
• Provide first-line IT support for common Windows and macOS issues.
