Félix is building a fintech platform for Latin immigrants' cross-border payments. We are hiring a Semi-Senior Software Engineer to own key backend projects, shaping scalable Python services on Google Cloud, focusing on payment processing and risk controls.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, implement robust APIs, and contribute to CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native architectures while growing technically in a fully remote role with potential hybrid transition.

Formación

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development fundamentals.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help scale payment and financial systems.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a mindset for long-term improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and deliver solutions.
• Use GCP services (e.g., Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Firestore, BigQuery) to build cloud-native solutions.
• Participate in improving CI/CD pipelines, observability, and dev tooling.
